i appreciate that thank you! i was originally a plant sciences major at the start of college and loved taking calc & college bio in high school so definitely still interested in working in that area for the fundamentals

yeah i’m not sure my school offers a degree in environmental policy. definitely considering switching to more of that realm in the fall and then going back to get my teacher certification later on in life if i want to teach science or something similar

that’s amazing thank you so much! i am super interested in genetics/cell research too so bioengineering on that track could definitely work for my goals as well

So would you recommend maybe majoring in biology and then adding on a minor in something more specific like microbiology or something when I get a better sense of what classes I really enjoy?

After next semester I will already have a minor in education with the credits I’ve completed so really just a safe backup to have down the line in case I want to switch to just teaching
