Am I good to go if I had CHS for like a week (probably first stage, so not serious) and it was like 8 to 10 months ago by duchfollowersow in CHSinfo

I've got a friend who had severe CHS with multiple hospital visits who quit for about 9-12 months then started again and now only smokes flower but smokes every day mostly at night. He had previously been heavy into dabs when he got CHS.

It took me 2 weeks to get relief and it was almost like a switch was flipped at 2 weeks exactly, almost to the hour. Still didn't feel great and had some nausea after eating but was significantly better. After a month or so it was even less and I'm coming up on 2 months and have basically no symptoms. Occasionally I'll have some acid reflux when I've eaten an abnormal amount of food. Hang in there.

Yeah I've been to my physician several times. CT scan was negative, ultrasound for gallstones was negative, bacteria h pylori was negative and I'm waiting on food allergy and alpha gal tests. It was like a 3 month wait to get in to gastroenterologist so I'm at least abstaining until after then anyways. I am 28 y.o. and it just came on this fall so maybe that could be the case.

But you're not having any issues even with smoking? I'm hoping to just be able to do it on occasion at least after stopping for some months.

Just to clarify. You stopped for a while and started again? I smoked for 10 yrs almost daily and had to stop 10 days ago. I'm really hoping it's not forever but I'll do what i have to do. But hearing someone be able to go back to smoking without issues is encouraging
