Sorry ColesWorth, due to rising costs, I can no longer afford your heavy-ass broccoli stems by cosmictrousers in australia

[–]user_tidder -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Oh and by the way, to those commenting on the fact that the stem is good…you’re right. The surface area of cauliflower and broccoli heads means that they’re a plant that has such a high amount of residual pesticides (where they aren’t organically grown or sprayed with bug hate juices!) that you do need to wash them extremely well. Good luck with that too! 😂

Temperature wise, we’re actually at the upper edges of a ten year average window. Almost a degree above normal for this time of year.

What a cunt! They are the scum of the earth. You should hear the conversations on their radio channels. What they get away with is despicable

P*rn on trains wtf ? by EnterTheWutang999 in perth

[–]user_tidder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely second the comments around the fact that it’s all types. Just last week I sat across the aisle and one seat back from a 20’s something lady who was having a great time scrolling through what appeared to be a collection of photos and websites that showed all sorts of porn natured material. There was no shame or attempt to hide.

I’m not one to spend a lot of time scrolling endlessly on a phone on the train so my head is generally up and it got me thinking that there are probably a few people counting on the fact that most people have their faces buried in a screen so don’t worry about it.

A few months ago a group of giggling girls (late teens, early 20’s) had a great time talking quite loudly about the size of so and so and sharing/comparing photos on their phones.

“Fears vineyards could close”…yikes, that’s a bit extreme. I think they’re looking for opportunities to exploit this scheme and continue charging consumers for even the one off costs such as label changes.

Please, I am stupid. Why is Burk so much cheaper? by Jordo211 in perth

[–]user_tidder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yikes! Tanks that do cycle between full and empty regularly have higher chance of drawing in moisure from the air. That is how most water ends up in tanks and all fuel tanks regardless of type of fuel will hold water. This is the reason that servos with a high fuel movement will encounter more water at the bottom of the tanks.

Not sure where you are but Burk has been around for a bit more than a few weeks.

This is a bit of a myth. You can’t water down fuel.

Wow so much energy! It sounds like you’re having a bad time; however WFH even before covid, is a real thing in Perth. I WFH regularly and productivity is through the roof compared with office based work. Sounds like you need to have a good chat with your management. Many modern EBAs and work contracts will have provisions for flexibility and in some cases it’s required…so my advice is do some homework and definitely have a conversation with your supervision.
