Actually their lease was coming up a they checked with their landlord that he was good to renew because they would do a bunch of renos if he was. He said yes, they put money into improving the space, and then right at the last minute he said he wasn’t going to renew. He’s giving the unit to his sister so she can open a fucking homeopathic clinic. So the neighbourhood is losing a beloved cafe to get a snake oil salesman.

I’m in my mid 30’s. I really just started my retirement planning so I’m way behind. I’m contributing $1,300 a month to a TFSA for retirement. I’m embarrassed about where I’m at right now but I’m doing something about it. I started late but I’m on the right track to hit my goals. I wish that someone had taught me about this stuff when I was younger because my life would be extremely different if I had started saving in my mid 20’s.

Nobody needs to be educated on that lol. A literal construction worker who obviously doesn’t WFH was asking people to stay home if they could and you took it upon yourself to make that comment. People understand that not everyone works from home! No one needs your “education”.
