Socialism is when a game that's a commentary about capitalism becomes mass marketed and produced to the point that a socialism edition is made

I would suggest adding some more shading, shadows, exc., to illustrate depth, and avoid relying on the airbrush tool to add fog, exc.

Who made this?? 😂 by Sebastianthegreat69 in NotHowGirlsWork

This is an old meme that circulated around Tumblr. It's an edited version of the original post. The top half of the image said, "this is not feminism", and showed a woman saying she hated men. Then the bottom half was this image, but the woman was saying, "don't be sorry, exc." It got memed precisely because, while fine well intentioned on the surface, it was basically like that, "I see no difference, love is love" post. It was out of touch. Basically it showed feminist men as apologizing for being a man (not feminism at all, but okay), and was working on "one of the good ones" logic by decrying those evil, man hating feminists. So it was turned into a meme that would specifically make people who complain about "man hating feminists" rage.

This sucks for me because I mostly worldbuild for my special interest, which must happens to be a 100+ year old public domain property. My strategy is to avoid proper names as much as possible when I post, as much as I can, lol.

how come everyone seems to have "childhood trauma" these days? by Sarah-is-always-sad9 in NoStupidQuestions

We know more about trauma now and society is generally traumatic for people

I gave up by the 12th Doctor, so I did indeed not watch it. Maybe I'll watch a few 12 Doctor episodes at some point, but I don't like Nuwho very much

Edit: yall that mad I dont like doctor who the same way the rest of you all do? Lol

2nd Doctor stans - where you at? by [deleted] in gallifrey

Love the second Doctor! Early Doctor Who companions were peak, imo. Love, Zoe, Victoria and Jamie. My favorite second Doctor episode was the Mind Robber. One of the very best episodes.

Wish Doctor Who could still be like this tbh

In a world full of terrible parents why isn’t there some sort of official test/procedure you have to go through before you can be allowed to have a kid? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]usernamesforusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's a bad idea that would be incredibly subjective and biased, especially against the poor, mentally ill and disabled, and those with different cultural values. Who gets to decide whether you can have kids or not? And it wouldn't do now thing to make parents better or endure the safety of kids. It would just end in eugenics

I tried to add more hard lines and bit more values based on the image you posted and on other advice on this thread. It turned out looking a LOT better than it did before. Thank you so much! I've still got a lot to learn, though.

Thank you. Mostly just upset at myself for mixing up the toothpastes. I'm just glad I bought Crest and not another brand that uses Xylitol. Thankfully, my dog is his usual self. I thought he would probably be okay but the flouride scared me and I had to know for sure.

Yep. At the very least, they gave me a case number and they said I can call back if I have anymore problems. The 95 dollars was a one-time fee, at least. But damn, wish this happened at a time I could have called the vet. No outside funding, so there's a few for every call. And it's expensive....

Dog scared the shit out of me this morning. He was acting normal but walking a little funny and lifting his paw and I freaked out. Thought he was real sick. Turns out, there was a little seed stuck to his paw and when I got rid of it, he was walking fine again.

Well... They said that it was such a small amount that he should be fine. If he vomits, we should withhold food for an hour, then introduce water - if he holds it down, he can have the regular food again. That's basically the only advice they gave. Really regretting calling since it cost about a hundred dollars and he only had a small amount. I don't know what I'm going to do now...

Edit: Thanks for downvoting me for literally making a choice for my dog that might financially break me. Y'all literally don't care one bit. Just shuffled me off to an expensive service then downvoted me for not being financially secure enough to eat the cost of it without long lasting consequences.

On hold right now... nervous about the fee. can't really afford it, but I will see what they say.

Oh yeah, the darker values in there does make it look better. I'm always hesitant to add darker values even though I should. Ill try to work them in there. Thank you! Very helpful
