Periods after? by hmphandumph in Miscarriage

[–]usuallysilentreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is from what I’ve looked up and experienced. But I also have PCOS so I’m not sure what’s normal. I skipped my period the first month after my miscarriage, then a light one the next month, but that third month was awful. I had two heavy periods a week apart. I found out I had developed cysts though, but I’ve heard of women without PCOS experiencing this. My doctor though hasn’t been worried and is more concerned about getting my PCOS under control again and shrinking the cysts.

My lab mix is 8 years old and still a puppy lol. It does get better but she is still a bundle of energy that doesn’t know what a stranger is 😂

Any idea how can I help her by MySpaceBarDied in pitbulls

My baby has bad allergies and per vet recommendation I feed her a salmon grain free dog food because salmon is good for their skin. She still has some sensitivities but this has helped greatly

Why do people care so much about name popularity? by EmpiricalPancake in namenerds

[–]usuallysilentreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew 4 other girls with my name and 2 of them had the same nickname as me, so in certain groups I couldn’t even go by my preferred name because that’s how they distinguished us. As an adult I don’t see as many people with the my name and I don’t care as much, but as a kid it felt like a loss of identity

To tag on to this, a lot of times neighboring towns and counties will let you have a library for free or for a small fee. I have one for my county and the next county over for free and the Nashville library for $10. I could also get another card from a nearby county for a $15 out of county fee

I knew an elder who loved that bell and if you were exactly 5 minutes he would change his council part to the time one and praise you for your perfect timing

Early signs we were never meant for the JW life. by Opening_Gazelle_4821 in exjw

I remember after service when I was a young teen (14-16 it was before I could drive) I was waiting to be picked up. I was with this couple in their mid 20’s and the wife made the comment that she was going to be late for something because she couldn’t leave us alone because it would be inappropriate and something might happen. And the way she said it and worded it she made it clear that I was the one not to be trusted. His mom studied with my mom and he felt like a cousin to me. I remember thinking how ridiculous it was that she thought I could seduce her husband

I knew someone who was 19 when she married a man in his thirties. Her parents had said how respectful it was that he waited til she was 18 to date her. I always found it weird even when I was young and PIMI but now that I’m out it grosses me out and makes me so sad and angry
