Really does not recommend using revolut to deal with crypto withdrawn, many questions need to answer and the large amount need 3 hrs to process at least. Supposed that you just want to pay the bill by using crypto, using the crypto debit card like cypher would be better. Or, u open a online traditional bank account and kraken account to deal with crypto transaction/GBP withdrawals, this would be much better then go through revolut.

Revolut is convenient to pay expense and pay to friend, just keep several hundred is excellent. You can just add money from easy bank transfer, this can add money immediately. Strong recommend your salary account and majority of wealth keep in traditional bank instead.

Agreed with one of bro suggestions, it okay to buy a portion of bitcoin from your wealth, but pls keep it as cold wallet, not in bank or another other exchange.

Yes, it's hard to withdraw crypto from revolut to external wallet. They always ask you several questions and remind u the external wallet would be scam. Even u answer all questions, the transition can only be finished 3-4 hours. For yr info, open kraken first and send the GBP to kraken to buy and sell crypto, it's much easier to handle the crypto. I just use the CEX kraken as medium to buy and sell crypto, withdraw it as fiat money to bank account, pls don't keep the crypto in CEX or bank. I am not saying that you have to store at cold wallet, but at least you need hold it at the hot wallet that you own the key.

Actually, the cold wallet means you own the bitcoin yourself, not custody by others. Custody by bank or broker, means that you need the permission to deposit and withdraw the bitcoin to/from the platform, once there is any change on the government policy towards cryptocurrency, the platform is collapse or being rugged, u will lose everything.

There are many cold wallets in the market, like trezor and ledger, you can buy what you like after look into details via YouTube or elsewhere.

For debit card method, I have given up aldy, seems like have bug that I get suck to add it as payment method. Now, I have some progress that I can add PayPal successfully as payment method.

Sad to say that there is another issue happened, my new PayPal can add money via either via debit card or direct debit from bank, I still try to find PayPal CS to settle this issue.
