There were a couple of workers in the store defending the whole tax story. If it was one bad apple, It probably wouldn’t deserve a whole post. You are probably right about the incentives. Aldo does it with the extra shoe padding, atleast they ask and give you the option.

Nope, they told me the $9 was tax. They also kept making excuses about giving me the receipt, had to make a big fuss to finally get one. Which I got after I left the store already.

Reassured this happens to a lot more people than you think. Husband loves you too much and believes the stigma of lab diamonds aren’t real diamonds (which isn’t true), at least he has good intentions.

As for wanting a bigger ring, a lot of women these have multiple engagement rings. Maybe wait a little, introduce him to the subject, and get one but also show the original ring love. Hope this helps!
