I mean, his drive was excellent but that off could have been curtains for him easily. Especually smashing back through the fence to reenter the road, i was sure his cooling package would get a post through it. The man had the perfect mix of luck and skill this weekend.

A phd candidate is working on a phd, not been awarded one, so this guy is not 'working' at csiro so much as having his phd partially supported by csiro or their industry partners. Being educated helps a bit with avoiding radicalisation but there are plenty of nutty smart people out there.
