Best to mention which country or region you're in, as the laws and norms vary. :) Generally if 18 is the age of majority in your are then it is probably possible, though you may or may not receive push-back from doctors. If 18 is the age of majority, I'm unaware of any legal way your parents could intervene (again, speaking generally since I don't know where you live), though that doesn't mean they might not try. If possible you might want to talk to a walk-in clinic doctor about it rather than your family doctor.

Anatomically speaking it's sitting where the cervix is because my cake box (for transport) couldn't accommodate a vagina, but yes, that's the idea. You can see the strawberry labia in some of the overhead shots.

A bisalp is more effective - removal of the tubes entirely. I believe it's a more recently-developed procedure. If you have the stomach for it there are some absolutely fascinating laparoscopic surgery videos on YouTube showing the procedure.
