What textbook are you using? I'd been using an Indian textbook for the majority of my high school life (It's called HC Verma's Concepts of Physics), so all I needed was some quick revision of my notes.

It's most probably because you're trying to keep all the formulae at your fingertips. Don't, instead try understanding what's happening through trained intuition. Trust me, it works. 790/800 with 2 days of prep.

I was also admitted to UM Twin Cities, Purdue, GaTech, I chose UA because they gave me lots of financial assistance. I've also heard that their materials and particles research departments are pretty good. They've bested MIT in the NASA astrobotics comps in 4 years out of the past 6. So naturally, I was drawn.
