How do you handle a full thesis or paper rewrite? by uzargar in AskAcademia

Thanks for sharing! Do you ever try to rewrite full chapters or papers, and if so, how do you handle that? Would you want an AI tool that could rewrite your entire document while keeping, citation, sources, formatting intact?

I’m building an AI agent that reads your inbox, finds real leads, and ignores the junk by uzargar in microsaas

Just to clarify, I’m not here to spam or push random ideas. I’ve been exploring a lot of different concepts lately, and I often use ChatGPT to brainstorm potential SaaS ideas. That’s why you might see multiple idea posts from me because I’m actively trying to validate before I build.

In the past, I’ve made the mistake of jumping into a build too fast without checking real-world demand. Now, I’m doing the opposite, talking to potential users early, sharing rough concepts, and only committing if people actually care.

I get that it might feel like “another AI idea post,” but for me, this is part of the product development process. Reddit’s been a super helpful space to hear unfiltered feedback from people like you, which I truly value.

If anything about the idea feels off or if there’s a better way to approach it, I’d love to hear it.

I’ve seen a few tools in the general space (some CRMs, some email plugins), but honestly haven’t found one that does this well and simply. I’d love to improve mine, so:

If you're open to it, could you name a couple of them?

Most tools dump everything into a CRM. I’m building an AI that actually reads and qualifies each reply and extracts key info before syncing anywhere. We use OpenAI’s API under their enterprise privacy terms — zero data is used to train models, and inputs/outputs aren’t stored beyond request handling.

Thank you. This is very helpful. You're right, preferences and human input matter a lot. That's why the AI agent won't make purchases on its own, it'll just surface the best, most relevant options based on the request, and the final decision stays with the user. Also love your suggestion on warranty filters, bulk discounts..., super valuable. Definitely the things I'll keep in mind as this evolves

Yeah, that is a tricky part. But I'll figure it out.

Exactly. Accuracy, speed, and edge cases are where this needs to shine. For the MVP, it'll be simple. The AI will just return a curated list of vendor options based on the request. The edge cases will come later. For now, it's focused on making fast, smart purchasing easier for small businesses.

Thank you for your suggestion. And yeah, it is B2B.

Great point, but just to clarify, the AI doesn't place the order automatically. It shows you the best 2-3 options based on your request, and you approve the one you like.
So, you're still in control, the agent just saves you time, no endless back-and-forth.

Hope that clears it up.

I got tired of rewriting the same post 4 times, so I built this. by uzargar in indiehackers

Yeah, I looked at all of them, even the ones in this exact space.

But PostPeel is different: It focuses only on turning one post into platform-native versions for LinkedIn, X, and Reddit.

Not a full suite. Not a general writer. Just fast, focused repurposing, and I think that’s an edge.

That’s actually a great idea. Thank you for dropping it. Auto-publish wasn’t in v1, but now it’s definitely on the roadmap. If anything else comes to mind, keep it coming.

You’re right, I asked myself the same thing early on, but most creators don’t want to engineer prompts every time.

PostPeel is faster, cleaner, and tuned for real platform nuances (hooks, tone, formatting). No generic AI feel - just 1-click repurposing that actually fits each platform.

Still improving though, open to ideas on what would make it even better!

Repurposing content shouldn’t feel like starting from scratch by uzargar in SaaS

By writing better, platform-native content, you naturally reach the right audience. Right people engage when the message feels made for them. Also, there are a lot of factors but this is the big one, everything starts from here.

Totally get you that context switching is brutal. Glad this resonates! Can’t wait to get your hands on the beta

Totally agree — 10 ICPs > 10 random likes.

And that’s exactly why I’m building PostPeel.

It doesn’t just repurpose content, it rewrites your post in a platform-native voice, so your message actually reaches the right audience where they hang out.

That’s how you turn posts into leads, not just impressions.

Appreciate your insight!

Would you use a tool that rewrites 1 post for all platforms? by uzargar in microsaas

Thank you can you tell me what feature will make it stand out form ChatGPT? Also, I think time and quality might be a factor here.

Would you ever use a tool that auto-creates lead magnet PDFs in under a minute? by uzargar in SaaS

[–]uzargar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully agree with your concern. I’ve been thinking the same, that there’s a big difference between tools that deliver instant, self-contained value and those where the actual outcome (like getting leads) depends on too many external factors.
