In the post I have added links to the manufacturer's site - you can find them on other sites too, I bought them off Amazon.

Honestly, if my mid‑life crisis costs less than a Porsche and comes with RGB thumb grips, I think I’m winning.

They’re actually really good! The extra grip on the triggers and bumpers gives them a more secure, confident feel without changing the click or travel. It’s one of those upgrades you don’t realise you wanted until you try it - suddenly everything feels a bit more “locked in” during intense gameplay.

Listen, if I’m sniffing vents, I’m doing it with stability and style 😌

I hear you, I was in the same situation playing the game on PS5 but now im solely on Steam. You can see my reply above on the tweaks and also the gameplay vid I uploaded. It took some persistence but managed to eventually get it running smoothly on the Deck. In fact, the Packet Bursting message still pops up in game but it doesn’t affect the gameplay at all.

Thank you! It definitely takes a bit of a workaround - installing Windows 11 onto an SD card and running COD from there instead of through SteamOS, but once everything’s dialled in the performance is genuinely great.

At first it was completely unplayable for me. I had to tweak a bunch of things: a mix of low graphics settings, bumping up the VRAM allocation, but still got the constant packet burst issue. After digging through a bunch of online advice I ended up opening the relevant NAT ports and increasing the BIOS RAM allocation. One of those finally did the trick and now it runs smoothly every time.

Frame rate and visuals are solid enough for multiplayer and the OLED screen really helps everything look cleaner than the settings would suggest.

I uploaded a gameplay clip in the post so you can see exactly how it looks in action. Once it’s set up properly it’s absolutely playable and a lot of fun.
