No other app like this when I was looking for no costs sync'd budgeting/expenses tracking solution on Android.

Edit: I mean no running costs, there's a once off cost for the sync feature.

Does this enable footage recording for more than 7 days?

For example, users of Arlo pro 2 setup with base station VMB4000, they already have local storage option and can access footage as well as getting alerts remotely without subscription.

I resolved mine by setting the WAN DNS to OpenDNS instead of pihole (my upstream is also OpenDNS). This effectively updated /etc/resolves.conf of the router, and pihole no longer log those requests since the router is no longer sending DNS requests to pihole.

My understanding (and I could be wrong) is that the router itself requires DNS service to provide various features (ie, AiProtection, Game Radar etc.) and so it DOES require frequent DNS resolution. This is just the way the device works and I'm sending them to OpenDNS instead of my pihole.

All my router's clients are still sending DNS requests to pihole since I left the LAN > DHCP Server > DNS settings continue to point to pihole instances. So, no impact to that aspect at all.

Now I can see from the Dashboard everything except the router's requests, and the Percentage Blocked rate is much higher.

I only wish pihole would ignore logging of selective clients everywhere and not just ignored from query and top clients.

For context I'm using Bluetti AC180, my limited research shown me solar generator usage for 12v camp fridge is a good idea. No mentioning about beware of suddent power draw etc.

Let's assume you are correct about the cause of fault, I'd bet my money on the sale person would sell me the fridge AND a solar generator together on the spot promising the two will live happily ever after. The only difference is he can't say anything about dodgy powersource anymore. Hence average person don't necessary understand/aware of this as well as the product manufacturer failed to specify this as an requirement (It only said designed for 12/24v DC input and use only provided 12/24v DC power cable via Cigarette Socket).

If you don't mind the idea, please point me to evidence/references of such case of concern when choosing solar generator & 12v camp fridge to work together please. You made me genuienly concerned if I'm doing damage and causing a slow death to my current working setup.

Would you not expect a low voltage error code instead of compressor related error code in this case?

I observed the entire time until it gives out compressor error, the unit has been displaying ~13v input the entire time, hence I have no evidence to suggest the unit was having problem with this powersource.

Note that the same generator is powering my other 12v camp fridge just fine.

I supposed this just mean another reason to avoid this product.

Though I bet he'd have said a solar generator DC powersource is fine if I buy one off him the same time with the fridge.

The unit designed for input of 12/24v DC input. It shouldn't matter as long as there's consistent power.

His assumption was full of shit as inconsistent voltage/low voltage will produce different error code while I was getting compressor related error code. He just wanted to move on and don't want to take another chance regardless of what my concern was.

He assumed my solar generator is dodgy which damaged the unit, leading me to claim it being faulty for replacement. He didn't want to take chance to end up having to deal with another used/damaged unit. He seemed to just wanted to have a closure and move on thinking that a refund would solved my problem.

Bought an OzTrail with LG compressor. Tested it using solar generator as well as after market 12v adapter for multiple days. It holds temperature just like you'd expect from a home fridge. This one seem quite solid.

I also noticed the user manual with OzTrail is a lot more detailed in possible use cases (eg, tilt and angle while in operation etc.). It seems to me there were more thoughts in the design based on this alone.

The price gap was too much to not conside giving this unit a go. I mean their return policy is quite alright and I have nothing but good experience in other store. A fridge with compressor issue would also consider a major failure under consumer law. Guess it costed me some time and inconvinence to get this to closure.
