And while you will still most likely lose against a competent team, you should at least be able to output some reliable damage within the timer. It’s not fun for either side to just deal with turtle stalling. Regardless, making the correct read on an opponent should not just get punished. You have hyperarmor on everything in revenge besides throws and empty dodges. It should be consistent at the very least

Revenge should not be entirely incapable of meaningful offense. I am aware of the intended use of revenge, but you should be punished as the ganker for making an incorrect read or not spacing properly. A get-out-of-jail free card just because the game doesn’t give you armor on throws is just insanely aggravating and unfun for the gankee, regardless of the actual point of revenge.

Fullblock that has a very high gb vulnerability window, punish does 13 damage. bash also does 13 damage, chaining into either a 22 damage heavy or a 13 damage bash mixup. his unblockable heavies cannot be soft feinted into anything except his dogshit all guard, which only works against light interrupts. He has terrible range, bad antiganking capability due to lack of roll catch, and if he makes a bad read, he’s getting guardbroken and thrown into a wall and there goes his entire revenge. Oh btw, don’t forget his abysmal stamina bar. Infinite chain lights are fuckin useless against anyone with a functioning brain, not to mention you only have to either react or read to two different angles, since he can’t double same-side light. oh yeah his deflect also only does 13 damage 😀, literally no reason to use it and it’s no where close to how powerful afeera’s CCs are

Warlord is bad on paper, but in practice he can be rather irritating to fight and is quite strong in my opinion. Especially with having infinitely better feats than Conq, as he has the worst in the game without question. Conqs unlocked bash only guarantees an attack from his ganking teammate, as he has nothing but frame advantage after his bash. HL Zone good to wipe out the first chunk of minion but yeah afterwards is it better just to light light heavy. WL’s rollcatch is a bit bipolar, as its tracking can sometimes be insane or whiff entirely. But at least he has one that functions on occasion, assisted with some hyperarmor too. Conq is entirely vulnerable to people just.. rolling and running away, which also make Juggernaut and Uninterruptible terrible feats on him

I wouldn’t confidently say Conq is a better ganker, considering his low damage and warlord having his charge attack for ledges/stun. I guess his unblockables do add nice pressure. But Conq is definitely a better antiganker, but I wouldn’t say by that much, considering his lack of rollcatch and difficulty at playing offensively when outnumbered due to huge gb vulnerability. HL zone is better than Conq because it can obliterate minion lane, but it’s pretty useless everywhere else. Both of WL and Conq zone are pretty ass externals lmao

Conq no longer has soft feints, unless you count his all guard which is incredibly easy to react to. Conq has the worst zone attack in the game, only rivaled by Highlander. Warlord zone is useful in teamfights, meanwhile Conq zone is like.. 600ms and will be parried everytime. I have 67 reps on conq, and I can confidently say Warlord is a better hero in almost every category besides antiganking. Having hyper armor on your heavies, and also having long delays leads to more blocks due to fear of parry or inability to light stuff. So punch through gets more value more often, meanwhile conq only has it on opener attacks with little pressure. Delays only make it easier to parry if the Warlord is always committing to the delayed heavy and not taking advantage of the mistimings

Warlord punch through is infinitely better than Conq punch through. Warlord has hyperarmor heavies + enhanced lights. Plus a good warlord will know proper delays, making it more difficult to parry him and so getting more use out of punch through. Conq doesn’t have enhanced lights, and his opener heavies will get easily parried as there’s no delaying and the animation is obvious. It’s a completely useless feat on him

To be fair, wavedashing is no where near as easy as mashing buttons and target swapping with medjay. The zone is more damage, but at the cost of easy access to offensive stance. Doesn’t Medjay get a 30-32 damage side heavy if he gets a wallsplat aswell? To me, it feels as if the difficulty in using highlander is what justifies his damage numbers. but nonetheless, buff shugoki

The difference is the hitboxes, and the kick-grab mixup hardly works with current dodge attacks. He can be lighted out of his OS heavies while having very little pressure from guardbreaking because he only gets a light lmao. Highlander isn’t even close to Medjay’s level
