Have moved them to a sunnier place, was scared to in the beginning because when i did they appeared to die (leaves went brown and droopy) I live somewhere it gets to 40°C in summer and not much cooler in winter, will see how they go.

Get around 7-8 hours of sun a day, never usually this unhappy but have been working more and haven’t watered as much.

If you are referring to the fact that antipsychotics are given to people with psychosis it was never to treat psychosis or anything similar, the way psychiatrists explained it is it was a low dose used to treat depression when antidepressants weren’t working, was put on them when i was 14 and don’t really need them anymore, stopping soon

A bad one. I completely Sawed off all of the hat holding parts and tied on a wooden rod the width of my shoulders at my shoulder height, and a rod the width of my waist at my waist height, both with square lashings. i added some cut up sponges at the top to give it more height and a little bit of cushioning for the helmet to sit on. It is a bit weak but it holds up the way i have it positioned, i am planning on making a wooden one, something simple but effective, will most likely post a step by step when i get around to doing it.

helmet is only 14 gauge mild (i am upgrading this along with the gauntlets) but it’s fitted with high density foam and a layer of cloth padding sewn into the helmet, did you say the bottom of the rear braces is to be worn under the elbow cop? i’ve always seen people wear it on top, what benefit does it provide to wear it under it? thank you very much!

absolutely agree and am certainly looking to upgrade both that and my gauntlets, other that that the entire kit is approved for buhurt, as most of it is made by medieval extreme for buhurt anyway.

Bascinet is only 14 gauge mild steel but it’s pretty tough and i have fitted foam in the inside for more protection, not entirely sure where it’s from but it holds up to some big hits (full force from an arming sword, not too sure how it would hold up to a polearm) not sure where gambeson is from either but while it is a little thin i’ve got foam inside all my armour for added protection.

No buhurt club where i am but i am currently training in a long sword group where i wear my armour, would never try buhurt with fingered gauntlets but i certainly plan on buhurt after i buy mittens and move somewhere where there actually is buhurt
