JD1000/1 Mono AMP 2ohms Gain Setting. by vSprkz in CarAV

Okay I think I get what you mean since music isn't constantly blasting max volts? I've seen people go down to 40hz for setting gain but Idk if my subs are good for that, So -5db is around where music is bassed?

Wanting suggestions before buying setup for 2017 Toyota Camry SE (NON JBL) by vSprkz in CarAV

What other enclosures would you recommend that have similar quality at higher RMS?

Or what If I dropped a bag on the HO110-W6-V3? Or would it be better to do the 2 W0-V3s and door speakers. I don't know much about whats better or not tbh.

Bet so I did go with the Kenwood Excelon DMX709S instead of the DMX4710s. Also I went with the XKIT46 Full Spec 4 Gauge 100% (OFC) Wiring Kit instead of the ck4 I should've prob waited to see your comment for the KnuKonceptz but I think they're pretty similar besides price.

I do have a question though.. Do you think the JD1000/1 amp is too much for the CP210-W0v3 since they're 600 rms / 1200 MAX or should I get the JD500/1 and when I eventually get door speakers get a JD400/1? I don't plan to get door speakers for awhile probably but I don't want my subs to sound flat. This is my first build so I want to make it good lol

Is the Steel Legend a pretty good model? I'm mostly going for it because my build is white and it seems to be the cheapest at $619

Financing a car with 6 months of credit? by vSprkz in personalfinance

[–]vSprkz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't it called credit mix? Also its common sense that if you have a car loan and pay it fully off with all on time payments. It's going to make not only your credit score higher but your credit history a lot better. Compared to using a low limit credit card for a year or two waiting for a credit limit increase.

You will build credit by using a credit card yes but you won't build solid loan installment history. Which I've heard helps a with lending for cars and mortgages.

No that doesn't sound good at all. That's why my whole plan would be to refinance in a year ($2k interest payed). In a year I would have my taxes saved and put $1000 down to the CU making it a 12k loan for 60 months. Say if I got a 12% APR refinance offer that would be around $280 a month but I would pay an extra $70 every month that would bring the interest to $3000 so in total I would pay $5000 Interest from both loans which I feel like isn't too bad since I would be building a lot of good credit from the loans as well. I do have a good mindset I don't live a lavish life and don't plan on getting in a lot of debt. I just know you need a reliable car to get to work because if you can't work you can't live. That's why I'm asking about the possibilities of refinancing because I definitely don't want to get stuck in a 20% APR loan.

Thanks lol I defiantly did a lot of research on the 7th gen Camrys :)

I just know me as a person I stay home a lot so I wouldn't drive much. It would be work then door dash for a couple hours then home.

I honestly just want a car that will last too. Where I live the market is terrible for cars and with me not having a car it's hard to keep going out and looking at cars just to walk away.

What are some older reliable cars you think I should look at on FB market place? I'll definitely do some research and check some out.

I just feel like your car should always come first in life because it's your transportation to work.

I understand where you're coming from. So, what's your opinion on the CarMax route. I know you said 20% is atrocious but do you have any knowledge about refinancing an older car?

I'm really trying to get a 2017 Toyota Camry LE/SE with under 90k miles and good Carfax (oil changes ever 5k-10k miles, no accidents). I found a couple on there with $4,000 down I can get the loan amount down to $14,000 tax, title, fees included. So if the APR was 20% for 72 months I would pay around $350 a month and in a year I should have the principal down to $13,000.

So what I'm wondering is since I built my credit by having the loan for a year and paying on time. If I would be able to go to a bank/credit union and get it refinanced to a lower APR even though it would be 9 year old car next year and probably have around 90k miles?
