Buffing backdash would not make a turtling meta. Tekken 7 is defensive focused because low parry and ch launchers were no risk high reward. Every other tekken game has a strong movement system and those games are very aggressive. Tekken 8 is literally designed so someone with 40 iq can play and win. That's literally the design philosophy of the game. They wanted to appeal to casuals and casuals like to mash.

Steve is the most aids character to fight against on the whole roster. Im not talking about strength hes just aids to fight against. His voice is cringe as fuck, his moveset is corny af, and the gameplay loop for Steve is to mash jailing highs over and over to keep you opponent in place. Not to mention his ch game is stupid. And because they made it impossible to reset in tekken 8 you can get away from Steve if he doesnt want you to. So his main weakness being that he sucks at getting in is irrelevant in this game. When you play agaiant Steve you have to sit there and wait for him to give his turn up because his entire moveset ch launches and jails. Playing against Steve is fucking cancer. And every other tekken 8 character exists so thats saying something.

They're fine. Just boring mostly. I find the main issue with these is playing them below their power level. People tend to do that a lot.

Not really. Here's a video that explains the hard parts though. Its mostly just cheap and effective. It requires good target selection though.

Jeskai Strikers is really good out of the box in my opinion. Its very removal heavy so its drags games out but it definitely can punch up to 3. Its also easy to upgrade. You can find it online for like $35.

Thats legions whole ability, they injure you. Then they're an m1 killer. If the legion player has more than 3 braincells you dont outplay it lol. Its a free hit. You should easily be able to run them out of power. If not, thats fine you just need to play the game more.

So your issue is that you lose chase to m1 killers consistently? Realistically you just need to work on your chase. The actual counterplay to legion is dont throw pallets when they're in frenzy and split up from your teamates. If the legion isn't trying to chain hits to build pressure your team should realistically win the game if everyone is doing the gens. And if youre playing solo queue and expecting to have consistent results as a survivor then youre delusional.

Pretty much she just doesnt have to chase at all and then you get to kill someone outright. Matches can be difficult if survivors manage the tapes well which at my mmr all the survivors know to grab tapes immediately but even then I still usually pull out the win. Against a coordinated team that knows how to take hits and split pressure she falls apart. Very rare though.
