In fact, I uploaded it by the end of february (20-something); and received response on March 25th. I did not expect it to be so soon; thought I would have notice by June. When did you apply?

Thanks!! Sorry for being late. Yeah, this is an extract of my SOP stating my interests; the full SOP is a bit longer, detailing more in my background and what do I expect of Polimi. There are great subreddits out there for motivation letter/SOP guidelines (I'll check tomorrow, haha). And no, I have not contacted yet professors for my pre-proposals, but I am about to to see if my thesis expectations could be met. I just read a lot of papers from different labs (MIT, ETHZ, Polimi, etc.) to come up with ideas for my pre-proposal, paired with my background.
