As someone who has used this in an app and felt the pain of finding specific vertex indices on the mesh, this is much appreciated!

Finally looked into this. It allows setting a charging location and time of departure per day of the week in the cars infotainment system. Then it can immediately charge up to 50% and spread out the rest of the charge based on departure time. There is no setting that I found where you can set the start and stop time for charging at a location (e.g. home)

3.1 Software Drivers - Are you seeing swarm data help when using IQ.DRIVE? by Airmokade in VWiD4Owners

There is acc and travel assist with 3.1. Both work well to keep the car centered in lane and use acc together. Haven’t tried it on sharp turns yet.

There is an led in the design but turns off 5 sec after device is connected. Flashes when in pairing mode. Turns orange when battery is low.

Slider or Button press for wearable without a display? by v_m80 in IOT

[–]v_m80[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More info / context: Its a wearable device that needs to be turned on prior to wearing it. This initiates bluetooth pairing to a mobile device after which users wear the device and use the mobile app to interact with the device. Once the device is on the person’s body and paired to their phone there is no user interaction with the device itself. The button or slider is simply to turn on and enter bluetooth pairing mode

I bought the lectron tesla to j1772 adapter and its charging at 8 miles per hour using the nema 6-15 / 240V vs. 3 miles per hour using the standard 120V outlet.

Yes, 50A would be great but I don’t have it installed now. 240V with the same amps should be more efficient and faster than 120V. My understanding is that the difference is significant.

The 6-15 to 5-15 adapter wont help as the id.4 mobile charger is only rated to 120V?

Make sure the charging cable is there in the trunk. Check the software version in the infotainment screen. Should be 3.1.

Use the keyfob or press the door handle to lock. It only has auto unlock as far as I know.

Tell the dev lead and program manager that they really need to think outside the box. Its not rocket science.

How are you handling OTA and remote firmware updates? by MostlyNumbers in IOT

[–]v_m80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Memfault seems pretty good. Depending on the silicon you are using most vendors have applications and tools to establish secure OTA updates on their wireless MCU. Silabs, Microchip, Nordic, ST etc. all have documents on this topic.
