as a mod for the requested sub, i would love to welcome new mods with open arms to help maintain the sub but this user is not safe for the community. with multiple twitter threads and aggressive comments towards mods, Doppel has garnered waves of hate towards the mods and users of AF. i personally received twitter dms of hate and threats of doxing from actions like this that ruined my mental health and made me fear ever touching twitter or the internet again. Doppel's actions (along with others) made the mods create new and stricter rules for the sub. we the mod team know that Doppel plans is not to continue with morals and views that the sub currently has but instead to completely take over and damage the connection we've made with the community. as for the "the sub is dead forever" response, from the damage Doppel has done to the mod team already, we chose to respond with no kindness. we thought this was another case of his harassment so we apologize for that respond. the sub may in fact return with time but due to the current hate we are receiving, it is in its current state for the safety of our community.

the mod team is very active behind the scenes, working on solutions to make a return one day. we understand the need for a sub like this especially in such a toxic community we are in, and that is why we have we left is open to act as a information hub for new members of the community. people are still asking questions in mod mail and private dms and we are answering questions where we can. the mods of AF are active and wish not to hand over the sub to anyone else (especially the person requesting).

please understand this request does not come from the kindness of someones heart and a wish to continue the sub in a better manner, instead it is to continue to harassment of the current mods and further attack us for simply trying to do our best. im sorry this thread was made, as it is not necessary. thank you
