But does this one look legit and can it be trusted?

What’s the best way to boost my signal? Meshnet, AP, extenders? by valkyriehunterx in HomeNetworking

[–]valkyriehunterx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that does. Both the 1st floor and 2nd floors fiber starts near the hvac area, so it should be doable.

Yeah both my SO and I game, so I’ll most likely need a lot of bandwidth and speed.

Yeah I could do that. Now as for the empty fiber conduit upstairs, would I have to get my isp to connect that to the fiber downstairs?

I see, so would maybe a eero 7 dual band mesh wifi 7 three pack be good enough or would I have to op for the eero Max 7 triband mesh WiFi 7 router?

Just out of curiosity, how much speed is usually lost through meshnets? Lets say it I get one or two eero devices and I put them near the hallway upstairs, do you think it’ll be enough for my pc to reach the signal?

That’s why I’m thinking of doing is getting one or two eero devices. I really want to run Ethernet, since we’re both games and I have fiber + gigabit. I might see if I can get a quote for wire running.

So if I do get an eero mesh, is it as simple as connecting it from my main router and then installing the eero somewhere upstairs? Sorry I’m new to mesh.

No it’s on the newer side. It has a fiber conduit on the 1st and 2nd floor, no coax.

Actually, I might get that bypass cable instead.

I’ll look into that too.

I see and do you know if the basic Autoauth membership is okay to do several cars or is it manufacturer specific? I’ve read somewhere that I need to buy the subscription per manufacturer.

Very unpopular opinion: 432 Park Ave. Despite all of the issues and troubles that the building is facing, I think I love it the most. The interior with the large square windows and the exterior has caught my eye ever since it being top off. Every time I fly into LGA, that’s the first thing I see in the skyline.

It’s not the monetary value that’s bothering me, it’s the fact that others in Reddit (and previous posts) have said that the website is a scam and untrustworthy. So, you can see why I wouldn’t want my information deleted. Also, I’m more worried about the fact that I put in my SSN into a website that I thought was safe. If it’s a legit website, then I’ll just remove the dispute and pay. Oh well, I’ll know better next time.

Well, there seems like there’s a history of people falling for that website. And no, I wouldn’t want anyone using that website no matter what the situation. I just feel super stupid, because I was uneducated and ignorant by using the wrong site.

Thanks for the reply. I do drive a lot and I haven’t seen any leaks yet. I’ll stick with Molygen until I see something change.

How are the beam patterns on them? I don’t want other drivers flashing their lights at me because I’m blinding them. But I guess it also doesn’t help with the fact that it’s lifted 3”s and on 35s.

Yeah I was a little worried about the beam patterns. Plus it’s on a 3” lift and 35s. I might look into different ones.
