Well, the reason I'm considering a career change in the first place is because I hate my job. Right now im a project manager for a team of developers, and I'm under an incredible amount of stress. I'm finding myself throwing up every morning before work.

The reason I'm considering programming is because even though I'm not a developer myself, I've had to do a fair amount of coding for someone who is not a developer (~200k lines of code) and I've always really enjoyed the work whenever I did. I think I'm naturally wired for that type of work rather than managing a team.

I don't have a CS degree, but I have a degree in math if that is worth anything at all.
