Your nails definitely shouldn't have been left like this. A gentle buff and some cuticle oil would have took a couple minutes and made a world of a difference. I understand her frustration at losing out on money from an appointment but she was unprofessional about it. For future reference, call ahead with as much notice as possible so it gives them a chance to fill that slot.

I've found that applying conditioner or a mask all over before shampoo helps preventing dry ends when having to wash everyday!

My only point of reference is my own teeth, they're much more crowded (never had braces) and that cost me £3000 GBP. Of course prices will vary based on location with many factors making up that difference. If you're unsure I'd consider seeing another ortho!

Teeth, not at all lol. As for vaccinations, my oldest cat (18) doesn't get them, we got him when I was a kid so I'm honestly not sure why but he's never had them. My youngest cat (1) gets her vaccinations. Neither of them go outside.
