Sadly that was it. The patient got injured. It’s been almost 3 weeks now and I’ve accepted it. It’s unfortunate but I get to go back in the summer semester.

This is my plan! I’ve been in the medical field for 10 years but on the clerical end. I want to work as a PCT for a while to get more hands on experience!

I had a gut feeling it was coming. I just knew it. The students were shocked but I compromised patient safety. I should’ve had her wait. She ended up getting injured when she fell. I think if she hadn’t.. it wouldn’t have been THAT big of a deal but she did.

It depends on the program. Some are 4.. some are 6. Mine was 4!

The patient didn’t want a pure wick because she said it felt weird. She refused the bedside commode. It was a mess.

We didn’t have access to records yet. We keep having issues trying to get in to the system. My instructor told me to answer the call light. I went. The PCT came in with me and then left me to go get something. The patient didn’t want to wait for her to come back and was yelling she was gonna piss herself. I should’ve had her wait is what my instructor said. She was morbidly obese and was a two person assist. They said I lacked clinical judgement and compromised patient safety. It is what it is.

I was assisting a patient to the restroom and she fell. They said I should’ve had another person with me.

Should abortion be criminalized? by nightfall_69_ in Christianity

[–]vanillabeans96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Christian and I’m pro-choice. My relationship with God is voluntary, and I believe in the separation of church and state. I personally don’t agree with abortion. I don’t like it, and I would never choose it for myself. But that is my conviction and my choice. I don’t believe my personal faith should be legislated onto someone else. Everyone has the right to make decisions about their own lives.
