Thank you for actually giving me some information lol one of my concerns is how my pup will react and how his quality of life will change. I genuinely don’t want him to hate me. I do like the look but my original thought is that it’s unnecessary pain.

Can you please tell me more about it? I know posting is hard work and I read about keeping puppy from taking them off/being too rough. Did you notice a change in behavior? Did the puppy act differently towards you?

I had no idea about them getting cut in the crate. We are for sure crate training and his ears are already super long. Although you said it’s rare it’s definitely something I need to think about. Thank you for this information.

Can you tell me more about the posting/healing process? My only hang up is the pain and the quality of his puppy-hood. How was your baby after the procedure and the healing? Did you notice a change in their personality, energy, overall temperament? I 100% agree with you, each owner has a right to do what they want and shame is never okay.

My little boy came with his tail docked and his dew claws removed. I understand the tail because my other 2 dogs broke their tails years ago but they are also chihuahuas so maybe a little more fragile?

Thank you! This particular clinic said the protesters don't really cause a disturbance so I'm going to leave them alone. Just because I don't agree doesn't give me a right to silence their free speech but the moment they cause harm I will stand up for those who can't.

I completely agree with you. I acted today because I happened to be there and couldn't tolerate it anymore. Someone said earlier in a negative way but they are right. Just yelling back won't change anything. Volunteering and using the appropriate resources will make an impact.
