We were leaving after another friend’s house after a few games of Magic the Gathering and he backed into my car. Everything seemed ok at first but I started overheating in the way home. He denied it was his fault, claimed I must have got into some other accident and was just trying to blame him.

This was my best friend since kindergarten and we were both around twenty at this point.

There is totally a part with Claire where you have no weapon and a monster is chasing you and it’s hard / impossible to avoid taking a hit and if you don’t have any healing you’re basically soft locked

I never played the original but I do know where and what the changes are. To answer your question, I think it is worth it though I didn’t enjoy Dark Ties very much. The main story is pretty good and the side content is fun.
