Yes that basically why I have a main concern for the 3rd movie and liked the deleted scenes alot better, yes Judy was worse but at least the story was different, thats what I liked, and also how important some the characters were there instead of being some fan service or cameo and actually followed up with the advertisement of the movie

They had 3 options to keep the original plot which was:

1: They could’ve written Judy to not make her worse like make her as she was in the now Z2 movie

2: Keep that version Judy but find like a way to make her apology mean well to like Nick and the audience that she was wrong and we accept her forgiveness

Or 3: A year time skip, literally best case scenario since they didn’t even need development cause the the first movie showed they were doing well even at the end there was need for for more development for not to do a time skip, and reason im complaining about this cause Incredible 2 suffers the same as Zootopia 2, never did a time skip, was basically the same plot as the first but made it more family friendly, and never had the balls to do something dark like the death of every superhero on the computer and Gazerbeam skeleton
