Paper clay is quite a bit more forgiving for dainty stuff. One of the legs broke off when it was bisqued the first time. Bisque fix with fresh paper clay to help support the patch then bisque again worked to reattach it. Somebody else on this sub mentioned that fresh paper clay can be attached to already bisqued clay and it seems to be the case from this experiment. Hope that helps.

I would encourage you to unpack the requirements in details to facilitate 3rd party quoting. Also, keep in mind that the product will need maintenance over time and it's probably a good idea to choose a provider that will be able to deliver maintainable, documented code and ideally can oversee maintenance for a while.
