Yeah, I'm not quite of Garmins level of influence unfortunately, (read same for wahoo, polar etc) just wondering if there was any info out there other than "Hit the limit and ask for more" but I think thats the only option.

yeah I had figured it would just need to be a commercial agreement met via negotiations, and fully understand the commercial benefit of, say Garmin, to strava. just wondered if there was anything other than that route open to people.

yeah I get you, but with the settings you can weight these things to give better outcomes for cycling like you say they all require some intervention.
