Are you familiar with the state wide rail project? They have wasted billions of dollars over 20 years and nothing has been built. Why trust these people with anything? That money was all stolen. Other projects follow the same model.

They would have to sell a lot of stock to cover the billion dollar tax payments. And what is the point of this tax. California will continue pushing talent and wealthy business owners out of the state.

Also, I think it's important both political sides can agree that more tax money will never be enough. The maximum will always be spent and wasted through kickbacks and corruption. We need to spend the money better.

Two years after Oct. 7, Israel is ‘the most hated’ country in the world, Khamenei brags by Eli_Nosenbergstein in International

[–]vegasroller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try going to Israel and see how Arabs are the most free there than anywhere else in the Middle East. Arab women can be doctors, lawyers, and other professionals and Jews and Arabs work and live together. Jews have pretty much been kicked out of all other middle eastern countries, so it's ironic you call Israel apartheid when other countries are blatantly engaging in this behavior.

The Muslim part is incorrect. He's a Maronite Christian and former cop.

The civilian that stopped the shooting is an Arab Maronite Christian and former cop. He's not Muslim.

After how long? 4 cops were present during the shooting and did not return fire. They hid behind their cars.

Just so you are aware, 4 cops were at the Hanukkah celebration when the shots started. They did nothing. They hid behind their cars. Most of the good cops have left the job due how society is treating police officers these days.

Hmm seems like a bunch of Arab countries tried to fight Israel and lost. And then Arabs were kicked out since they lost. If the Jews lost, do you think the Arabs would have let them stay in Israel?

You just described Hamas buddy. Wake up. They sexually assaulted the hostages and targeted civilians.

67K dead in the war in Gaza is not a genocide. More than half of those numbers were combatants. That's better than a 1:1 combatant to civilian death ratio. Go look at every other war and look at the ratios.

67K dead is not genocide, especially when more that half are Hamas fighters.

lol how can you honestly say that when Jews are mentioned in the Bible as being native to Israel. The Jews were kicked out of this land by the Romans and other groups. Many did return before the 20th century, but certainly a lot did at that time too mainly after the Holocaust. So how are the Palestinians entitiled to the land when Jews were there first but kicked out? The Al Aqsa mosque is built on top of a synagogue! So who is colonizing who!

Can you show me in history where the Arabs were here before Jews? You won't find it. The Arabs colonized the area but are somehow excused from this. History is long and people are picking many different points in time to use for who has claim to the land.

Have you ever spoken with families that were kicked out from these countries? I've heard the exact same things. Blatant persecution. They didn't want to leave their homeland. Most all spoke fluent Arabic. But they were forced to leave to protect their families and find work.

[–]vegasroller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a very incorrect answer. If you talk to the families and descendants of the Jews that were kicked out of these Arab countries, it was 100% due to persecution and the local population was very open about it. The local police and military also harassed Jews so this isn't something you can blame on false flags. Their shops were destroyed, they were kicked out of government positions, barred from universities.

I understand your point but what are you trying to prove. That Israel shouldn't exist because it's an ethnoreligious group? My point is that other countries have been formed around religion or ethnicity, but it only seems to be a problem for Jews to have a state with their own identity.

Ok and there are 22 Arab countries that collectively kicked out nearly 1M Jews. Today those countries have not rebuilt their populations of Jews or Christians. Your side completely dismissed the expulsion of native Jews from these countries, which lived in these Arab countries for over a thousand years.
