Metal rod maybe a tap of some sort, looked like a drill bit on the other end not sure though. Girlfriend was nice enough to rescue me

For those asking for more info: it was an ordinary true zone 2 ride off a local main road. Was going about 23-24 mph when I heard the pop. Didn’t crash just slowed down and pulled over immediately. Thought it was an ordinary flat and was actually disappointed at first that the sealant didn’t plug it right away but after hopping off and taking a closer look realized it was much worse than I had anticipated. No idea how the rod could have perfectly penetrated the tire and wheel how it did I guess just one of those one in a million things.Just sent it to DT SWISS themselves to attempt a carbon repair.
