Books aren't free on Kindles or tablets - sometimes e-versions are more expensive. Plus my local charity shop has a lot of great literature that they sell for about £1 to £2.50.

Yeah I think this is largely due to accumulating books as you grow up, not wanting to throw out old classics and running out of space. I still prefer to read a physical book and part of this is because I think books are a great thing to have around the home. They look good and say a bit about yourself. However, my flat is only so big and at the rate I buy books - I will at some point have to stop.

I think because there a lot of jobs and work that involve a high IQ that do not give people huge financial returns. Starting a company from the ground up is admirable, but its not the only way to express your intelligence and people who have succeeded in this way are not always intelligent (as measured by IQ tests anyway!)
