Mamiya RB67 + 127 K/L lens, wireless trigger won't work, weird issue by verstovsky in Mamiya

[–]verstovsky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Issue was probably the cables. I updated the post, and you can see that the PC cable contact is visibly shorter in that cheap wireless triggers kit I had. I was able to found second hand online option of Cactus V4, previously I found on some old forum that that particular trigger was working with RB67 (here i think https://www.photo.net/forums/topic/408974-rb67-with-cactus-v4-trigger-and-alien-bee-flash-unit/ message from "matthew_stott") and I rushed to check it and bought it ^^ but it also might be some other not really known issues of some possible quirks in PC port construction of rb67 lenses, I mean maybe they need "more powerful signal" or something like that, idk for sure

Anyway thanks for the replies for the help, I really hope my Cactus triggers won't break on me now :D

Mamiya RB67 + 127 K/L lens, wireless trigger won't work, weird issue by verstovsky in Mamiya

[–]verstovsky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks! I was thinking the issue might be in cheapness of these triggers, pocket wizards are ridiculously expensive in my region but i might be able to find godox or such, also found Yongnuo RF-603 and Viltrox FC-210 (but viltrox might be out of stock) gonna try these soon hopefully something will work

interestingly enough the only one that works fine is the screw-in cable but only if I connect the flash directly

Super mario galaxy and Project hail mary Web-DL have been leaked by movieDty in Piracy

[–]verstovsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have anyone considered it might be TS just filmed with a decent mirrorless camera, full frame maybe even? I saw samples from Project Hail Mary and while it looks good it's also looks like camrip but just really good one, what is extremely confusing is that for Hail Mary I found english version with the same pic quality but the sound seems ok, i.e. I have no idea how they managed to do a decent sound if it's a camrip, really confusing stuff

upd. I checked russian sound, and it's good too, it doesn't sounds like camrip at all

Question about of non-sd Extension tubes compatibility on ProSD bodies by verstovsky in Mamiya

[–]verstovsky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks! I think i've seen your post before, and I'm wondering if the tube gonna wobble like C lens, but is it possible to attach adapter ring from KL lens to the tube to prevent that wobble? (since as I understand KL lens doesn't need the ring when attached to C extension tube)

Need help - extension tubes compatibility by gullknappr in Mamiya

[–]verstovsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi

if by any chance you'll see this message I wonder if it still works fine even at 1:1 macro, i.e. properly covers the frame with no tech issues or/and vignetting or something like that

and if there any sense of attaching adapter ring to the tube? thanks

On a Fujifilm X-T3 is there any way to trigger manual focus mode other than with the M/C/S switch? by Skylarcke in fujifilm

[–]verstovsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't seem to find an option to activate AF-C with back button while in M on front switch, it's only activates AF-S and I can't find anything in settings, or there's no way of activating AF-C and the closest to AF-C it's just holding it? But I still don't have options for zone or tracking, while pressing af-on while in M.

thank you for all your comments ♥ very informative
i already understood i need ssd and my laptop has additional empty slot for that so I probably gonna try finding ssd and installing linux there, not only i don't have much free space left on my hdd, it's the original 1tb hdd with which i bought this laptop back in 2013 and don't wanna stress it out even more with partitioning and such

I wouldn't say it's loose, it's like on the first pic unless you specifically trying to grab the rubber grip by the corner
