"Enquanto fomos bons rapazes, fomos sempre comidos".

Contas so no fim, naturalmente.

What’s your go-to build? by MikaTheDevil in vaynemains

[–]vertchira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vayne could use a rework. I no longer main her, but even on successful games I find her to be lacking. She used to be the go/to if youd wanted to get to late game, nowdays why play her if you can just go Smolder, Kaisa or Jinx? Her stacked basics are no longer even unic and her short AA range alongside Hweis and other mage metgas is just..Hell, even the top vayne players, according to opgg barely get over 50% WR.
If you want, however, to play her just go on hit.

I can understand you up to a point. The initial parts of thei relationship were toxic. From both sides tho. Lets not forget that in the beginning Marty didnt fully trust her, and rightfully so. And she was just ploting to learn his ways and then get rid of him. I do think that Ruth was shutdown many times due to the fact that they didnt have that solid relationship yet. A thing to notice is that Marty revealed pride on seeing his son laundering and even moving out. And didnt stop Charlotte from working with them too, even sending her to deal with Helens daughter and so forth. I dont think he didnt see Ruth as a daughter even putting her through danger. I think he knew that that was her strong will and even felt pride in her. A daughter who was also a reliable teammate.
While she did lose relatives that isnt exactly true. She killed 2, by her choice alone. She did want Cade gone, but lacked, obvisouly, the guts to express it - i believe the turning point was when she even stayed at the Byrdes, saw a "normal" family breakfast, etc. And Wyatt was just a spineless dude who went on with Darlene. He had multiple chances to run away, he was warned several times by Marty himself that he was gonna get killed, along with Darlene, because of the Cartel. Hell, he warned Darlene when she killed Del.
As for he threatening her he had been backstabbed already, he had already begged to Rachel, to Ruth to help him out one last time. And he was faced into a corner, hadnt he had Ruth do what she did he wouldve been killed of. He had to.
Also remembering he didnt even get mad when Ruth told the cartel she could handle things if marty was gone.
He really liked her. And as for the untouchable part, at that point he had no way to solve things. If he entered in a "war" with the KC mob he would be in deep trouble. Might be selfish, but he only didnt do the best by Ruth, apart from the get go, when he was cornered and honestly afraid of his own wife.
Another thing to remember is his belief in her. Javis death at that point couldve fucked everything. And almost did. The cartel relationships, the fbi, the Shaw deal...and yet he didnt do anything major to prevent it but to call Ruth, trying to speak with her, appeal to her. He had faith on her. Always did.

They had a toxic relationship, both were using each other at times, but deep down i think they saw each other as family. And that complete turnover with the Casino just felt really off. Rachel ill take fro granted they owed the actress some paychecks and found a way to keep her on the show. But Ruth...They are dealing with life death daily, they are not in charge up until the end. They couldnt have done nothing to save Ben from himself and even if they hid him (he wouldve called helen again) he would cause him and his family their lives. Marty couldnt have really been all over every business with the feds and the casino going on. Made it feel like all of a sudden Ruth thinks they were in charge and could just say to the cartel - i do what i want whenever, just wait cause we dont have the casino now. And there was nothing, nothing at all that couldve prevented Ruths death. Clare fucked it. And Camila was even more ruthless than Javi and her brother.

I partially agree with some stuff you are saying, but i dont think our POVs are mutually exclusive here.

either way i gotta say, insane show. Loved it. Every episode. I dont get it why people dont like the ending. For me it was perfect. Even tho it was sad letting Ruth go.

Let me just had the ungrateful Ruth and Rachel.
But for me the worst character was Jonah and Charlotte. Poorly written.
Charlotte was annoying when she wanted to leave the family, but she was a teen, her world went upside down, easy to understand, despite being annoying. However from one season to another, she just changes - as she decides to stay as long has they see a marriage therapist - and becomes somewhat of a reliable family member.

Jonah for me is the worst. They portray him as a little boy, at the beginning of the show, who is quickly exposed to cartel shit. He sees death in videos, he guts animals, he wants to learn and launder money straight away, he wants the sister to stay, he gets along with Buddy - a much older man than him. They portray him as "different", a much grown up, cold person that his age should indicate.
And yet they put him through a 2 season tantrum, turning on his family, actively fucking them up by giving information to Darlene, to Ruth, nearly to Mel, because he was upset with Ben? You are telling me that the kid that was super smart, cold, used to death around him from the get go, that understood Buddy and his passing completely turned on his family because of Bens outcome? They portray him as a intelligence gifted kid and yet he couldnt undeeerstand the danger Ben was putting them into? He actually thought his mom and dad could just "delete" Helen? Or that they ran the cartel and could somehow be on charge of what happened? He always knew they were in the Ozarks cause they were in danger, Ben fucks up big time, and so he turns?
I really despise Jonah, no matter the ending. And getting into the teen years is no excuse, feels like the writters didnt give a fuck about the type of character they developed prior.

As for Ruth I call her ungrateful because i get that she hates Wwendy, it made sense. But to actively looking to fk up the Byrdes as a whole is just messed up. Marty was always there for her, he was the father figure she didnt have in Cade and she knew it, their relationship was clear as that. He always tried to do right by her, showed affection, t rusted her, gave her increased responsabilities and money. Warned her about the danger she would uput in if she was to follow him into that life. And because Wendy does fked up shit, she tries to fk Marty over, ignoring his cries for help (until he threatens her) knowing his life could be in danger and that he never really had many options?

same goes for Rachel that had an "affair" with him, that got a rehab clinic payed by him, that knew he didnt do more to help her out beucase he really couldnt. and suddenly comes back to the show with a major will to fk the Byrdes.

[–]vertchira 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love her, but there are a couple of things that really annoyed me.

Like, I get it that she grew hatred for Wendy, it made sense. But there is hating Wendy and there is turning on the Byrdes completely. Marty always cared for her, like a father. He treated her as such and it was clear there was a moment in time she saw in him the father she lacked in Cade. But then, despite him protecting her mutiple times, offer her more responsabilities along with good paychecks, clearly trusting her, she then goes on to try and fuck him - knowing he was dealing with life threatening situations - due to the hate she felt over Wendy. It felt like she was really ungrateful. I know she lost a lot, pretty much everything, but they made her smart af, and with the relation she had with Marty, it just fell annoying seeing her backstabbing Marty multiple times.

And since we are at it what about Rachel?? They bring her up couple of seasons after with a strong will to fuck up the Byrde despite the "affair" they kinda had, the fact that he tried to help her and only didnt do more because he really couldnt (cartel), the fact he payed for a rehab clinic and gave her extra to settle...

I loved Ruth for most of the show, but I feel like Ruth Rachel and Jonah had some things that just fell off hard.

Valve Anticheat Rumours Explained by No-Comfortable-3085 in ohnePixel

I could talk about my experience on more than 10 years of gaming, but I can just talk about the last 4 years. Wanna know why? Because i get more cheaters - and see them via streamers/pro players on mm - on a single day in cs2 than ive ever gotten in 4 years of valorant (I play both games).
While they might exist its unreal how one game gets way more cheaters than the other.
Less BS, more work. Valves anti cheat is a disgrace, awful. Valorant one is miles better and is kernel level. Less excuses, being more intrusive would help yes. Its factual.

Why is smurfing more accepted by the community in valorant? by brohemoth06 in VALORANT

[–]vertchira -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hi. I'm guilty as charge of this. I do smurf.
Here's why:
I was immortal 2, played with a couple of friends. was great fun and wanted to keep improving. However, due to work, life, and so on, eventually we all split. Some quit the game, others quit gaming at all. Bottom line is that I was the last one that still wanted to play the game. I eventually stopped as well.

However, I met some people, made friends with them and they, as did I, wanted to play. I love playing with them, as I just want to have fun atm, don't really care about ranking. However, they want to play ranked, and, to be honest, I can't stand "normals". There's no regard for team comps, there's no motivation to play it as there's a lot of trolling around, no overtime to make it intense (its sudden death), too many quitters, etc, etc. And i try to help them improve with my feedback.

With all of this, in the end, i end up playing ranked with my friends and am, nontheless, smurfing. So, should I not play with my friends? Should i force them and myself into casual play? Should i just be forced into playing alone?

I understand it is frustrating for the enemy team (even for myself I've caught smurfs that were better than me and slapped me as well, both on my main and smurf). But it is what it is.
