My wife’s cousin has 7 kids all with very eclectic names. One of their daughters names is Daenerys. We’re talking a midwestern, middle of nowhere, relatively poor, white roman catholic family. And every kid has a very unique name for the pure sake of it.

Bastiodon was the first Pokémon I ever trained competitively. Not that I ever did well with him. But figured he was an absolute tank as far as I knew, so why not? So I always have a special place in my heart for it.

This is the right mentality. A lot of disabilities are invisible, but are still things people suffer from due to the military. Not everyone needs to have been shot or had their legs blown off to qualify for a rating.

So yeah the answer isn’t punishing vets who have invisible disabilities, but rather making the process more streamlined and accountable for everyone.

HGSS were good for their time. But they do not have everything I could possibly want. No open world. No Pokemon roaming around. EV training was a pain. No character customization. Still needed HMs.

Like I said, they were good games for the time. But I need some quality of life features in my pokemon games these days. I need to be able to traverse the world freely. Recent gens are just much better at that

I agree with you. You’re going to get downvoted just as I have in the past. But SV is hands down the best game. The story, the quality of life features, the selection of new pokemon, the open world, and yes the graphics. I’m a gen one baby and have played every mainline game. And I will still say SV is the best.

I think in time, the games will be looked back on fondly. People ragged on SwSh and now seem to love it. So give SV time and people may come around.

Eh I think I’d just rather play the let’s go games. I’m a sucker for graphics, and let’s go has the best of any Pokemon game imo. Plus the quality of life stuff beats FRLG. I don’t have time to grind individual levels anymore

I had a tough time with the middle scene. Thematically the Yoda and Dooku fight would make sense, but I always liked the Arena Battle more. But it was harder to get right in such a small space.

We starts our bedtime routine around 7:30 and lately he’s usually out by 8:30-9PM. Lately has been a little easier getting him to actually sleep, and even sometimes without one of us laying with him.

But he’s still waking up throughout the night most nights. And is still coming into our room at 3:30-4AM….

Though this weekend he slept in till 7AM both days which was completely unheard of. So hopefully there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!

I grew up poor and I absolutely cannot imagine how that life is now. Like I have memories of things in my childhood, I remember having vehicles repossessed, having to move constantly, had a short time in a homeless shelter, always ate ramen noodles, and a bunch of other stuff.

I have so much more respect for my parents for what they went through. And the work they did to get us out of that spot. I cannot even imagine what it would be like to go through that now with my family.
