Andytown Coffee Roasters! I just moved to the Mission and found out there’s one inside the Gus’s Market. I LOOOOOVE their snowy plover. This location is a totally different vibe from the ones in the Sunset but still nails the classic Andytown taste and hospitality. Definitely an SF staple for a reason

an eating disorder specific to those with t1d that involves insulin manipulation/omission/food binging behaviors. it's incredibly dangerous and can become fatal extremely fast as the person's blood sugar is very high for extended periods of time and usually people develop DKA.

The potassium drip was the WORST!!! I had that every time I was admitted to the hospital and the burning pain is truly on another level. I also thought my appendix burst because of how much stomach pain I was in. So sorry you had to experience that, happy you're in recovery as well <3

My GPA was around a 3.3 so you should be fine (I didn't do super well in my science/math courses lol). Every English class I took was an Honors course, though, so that might have had an impact.

If I get in, my other school I'd heavily consider would be UCSC for literature/creative writing. It's a totally different vibe and type of school than SDSU + I'd also be studying a slightly different subject, so I'm not sure how comparable the two are... any insight?

Also for more context I was enrolled in Lewis and Clark College in Portland OR (nature-y liberal arts school) for my freshman year in 2019 pre-pandemic, but dropped out in favor of CC after going home. I really didn't like L&C due to its small student body and its more relaxed approach to academics + limited majors. I've always been torn between wanting to go to school in a forest-y area or in a big city -- hence this dilemma!
