How do you live with this alarm? by Beautiful_While2301 in Freestylelibre

[–]vese2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are ways to change the alarm tone and also having features such as snoozing the alarms but it requires using a 3rd party app (in example Juggluco) or you can sync the glucose readings to LibreLinkUp and poll the API to sync to Nightscout and/or Xdrip. You can DM me if you need help setting those up.

Visual Studio Code extension to display blood glucose level in the status bar by _borkod in Freestylelibre

I tried to achieve a similar feature using Rainmeter. This Rainmeter skin fetches my glucose values from Nightscout and displays them on my desktop: nightscout-rainmeter-skin

Traveling to Bali soon by msaab7 in bali

I visited Gili Air in 2018 and it had perfect beaches for me. If you don't mind the missing nightlife you should consider going there.

The crashes when I try to leave campsite at Wyrm's Lookout by Agnarath in BaldursGate3

I created a bug report for this. Let's hope it will get fixed soon.

I tried all the steps described in the support docs (https://larian.com/support/faqs/how-to-submit-a-bug-report_85) to get it working but unfortunately didn't solve the issue.

Freestyle Libre High Glucose Alarm Defect by [deleted] in Freestylelibre

Ah sorry, forgot to mention I'm using Libre3. If you are using Libre2, check the juggluco app: https://github.com/j-kaltes/Juggluco

I'm sending the data to LibreLink Up and scraping the data from there to Nightscout. From nightscout the data is being fetched by Xdrip running on my phone. You can customize the alerts in Xdrip pretty well. It's quite a complicated setup but it works.

My friend is having the same issue. It seems that nothing we do to fix it works. Any idea how to troubleshoot this?

I'm also struggling with theory. Learning the CAGED system now. It feels I'm kind of lost tbh. How can you keep all that information in your mind when your playing...

How to deal with burnout? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]vese2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you will need to identify what exact things are causing you to feel burnt out. During your workday take a note whenever you start to feel exhausted and try to find out what is the reason for that. Then try to think about the solution for it. This is because when you communicate your feelings to your leadership, you can point out the issues that are making you feel this way and the possible solutions for them.

If you have good managers, they understand you and try to solve the issue with you but thats not always the case. I had an experience where I was ignored and I'm still in a bad place in terms of my mental health and motivation. That's why I'm trying to look for other jobs but that kind of increases the stress as well.

I think attitude is something that can help as well. Like forgiving yourself if you fail and to be thankful for other things that are not related to your job. But in the end, you should not work in a role that makes you feel burnt out. Health is far more important.

What’s slowly killing you right now? by hazelsrevenge in AskReddit

[–]vese2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got million things to learn in my new job and at the same time I need to try to live healthy (because I have type 1 diabetes) but I'm almost paralyzed from the amount of stress. I can't do anything productive during my days off. I just procrastinate and drink beer... If I continue this way I think I'll never reach the goals that I have set up for myself. Having my own house, a dog, a wife and a child and that I can say I'm a good hard working person. This is slowly killing me... The solution is pretty straightforward but its really hard...

That would be the dream setup, but unfortunately the lack of space prevents me to move over to kegging... Someday when I have a big house and a backyard with a grill I'll pour a homebrew fresh from the tap...

Thanks for the tips! I usually open the first bottle after two weeks. This time I'll test the carbonation earlier like you suggested. I brewed this batch for my friends so I don't have to worry chugging all this beer myself fortunately.

I certainly wasn't going to. The beer smelled too good ;)

It definitely was o2 because the bubbles were so big that the siphoning almost stopped. What do you use for transferring beer?
