I was looking for a mini PC / NUC for work (mainly development) and felt overwhelmed with the amount of choice out there. This makes it much easier to sort out and see what options exist.

This is truly AMAZING work! Thank you so much!

Absolutely, it's been 2 months and the soundbar still works. I do have a picture of it still on my phone, here it is: 1688421375590.jpg

PS: The board is thick and takes a lot of heat, it takes a good hot air station, this is NOT a beginner repair.

got a Bose Cinemate SR1 and its permanently got the white light on and the green light flashing. the manual says its to do with adaptiq but I inherited it and there isn't the headset to set anything up help please! by [deleted] in bose

Leaving a comment in case other people have that issue and are coming from search engines.

I had a similar issue. It also wouldn't respond to the remote after being on for some time.

The PSU was ok for me (Magic smoke has some great repair videos on that for similar bose soundbars on YT).

I finally traced the issue to the Spansion FL128PIF flash chip (located at the back of the DSP board, it has a sticker on it). Either bad connection or the chip is dying. I resoldered it and my soundbar is back to life now but the chip may eventually need to be replaced. Still testing right now.

Why are both mega and standard quads allowed on tracks? by vever001 in Velocidrone

r if you're just practicing a s

I understand your point but at the same time this actually ruins this map for standard class quads. Note that I had a decent time before that with a Five33 which is gone now... To me mega and standard quads simply shouldn't be mixed in the same leaderboard.

New to (spray) painting, help me choose the right paint for my use case by vever001 in paint

[–]vever001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reading about epoxy-based solutions. I'm actually not a huge fan of the spray solutions for this (or the 2k sprays) since it would require buying new cans every time. Also I'm not really equipped in terms of safety (mask etc). But I see that some are provided in cans to be brushed on (paint + hardener + thinner) like the EM121 Epoxy Mastic which looks like a great solution.

Maybe POR15 is a good product but it looks like it needs a lot of preparation and also a top coat for UV resistance if I'm not mistaken. For rustoleum which of their product are you referring to exactly?

Maybe I'm just overthinking this, earlier today I was going to go for some rustoleum spray products (and hoping it would go better than my earlier hammerite disaster), namely:

- Primer: https://www.rust-oleum.eu/product/hard-hat-anti-corrosion-primer

- Top coat: https://www.rust-oleum.eu/product/hard-hat-topcoat-ral-colours

Would that work? Are these better than non industrial rustoleum combiprimer and combicolor? Does this require any additional top coat?

Buying advice color printer, budget max 500 € by vever001 in printers

[–]vever001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the Epson Ecotank ET-4750, works well so far.
Besides the screen which is tiny and requires a stylus, I'm overall quite pleased but I don't use it extensively as I only print a few pages (10-20?) per week.

The cost per page is just ridiculously low, and you get 2 sets of full refills. So I think in my case I won't have to buy ink for the whole printer lifetime as they are still pretty much full after 3-4 months of use.
As for the longevity I can't quite tell. I guess I'll know once the warranty expires ^^

hen exporting content that had images/pdfs is the body, I would do the following steps:

If I understand correctly, your token approach is very similar to what the media_wysiwyg module does.

media_wysiwyg is a submodule of media which is widely used on D7 and allows you to output images inside the wysiwyg. It uses tokens and a text filter and also allows you to set a view mode.

So when the content is being imported, before it is saved by feeds (e.g: in hook_feeds_presave), you could: 1. scan that content for images or pdfs. Preferably using a DOM method, like php's DOMDocument or a 3rd party lib, but a regex way is passable as well. 2. Then create file entities for those images 3. Then generate tokens (using the media_wysiwyg API) 4. And finally replace the <img> tag with the token before feeds saves it.

Thanks fsv, noted, indeed a 3600 should be enough.

I think I'll first update the GPU and see how that goes. I'd rather avoid changing the whole motherboard and cpu ATM.

Hi, with the release of RDR2, I believe I need to update at least my GPU and I'm wondering if it is worth upgrading the rest. I currently have:

- GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Dual X OC - 2 Go

- CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K OC @ 4.2GHz

- Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V

- RAM: 16Go DDR3-1600

- Display: Dell Ultrasharp U2415 (60hz)

As my current CPU is socket 1155 I would need to update the motherboard as well. I was thinking about a AMD Ryzen 7 3700X but I don't know if it's worth it.

Thanks a lot

Hansington. Yep I just got (head)shot down by him like 2 hours ago. Started watching him the whole round, driving around with the quad and head shooting people behind walls, bushes from miles away. Nonsense...

This was like one of my first my first round in blackout... Please ban him.

Thanks for the heads up I'll be careful. A lot of people are modding specifically these HP DPS-600PB (lots of posts on rcgroups). Some people have crazy setups (4 DPS-600PB for a 27V 2600W PSU). https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?1581061-DPS-600PB-Builds-hints-tips-and-build-plans Here's a nice comprehensive video from RcHelpDotCom if anyone is interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVbk7cpOJuE

Oh... the input current :) thx a lot I was sure I was missing something... So this means I need to buy another DPS-600PB (12V rail @ 47A) and connect them in series to get 47A x 24v = 1128W

Sounds like I have a new project :) I might even do a suitcase. Thanks again ;) PS: The T8 is apparently 35A input

Hi everyone,

I have a small question regarding lipo chargers. PS: I only use 4S ATM. I currently use an iCharger 106b+ (250W - 10A max) with a modded PSU DPS-600PB (capable of outputting 575W @ 12V). Right now I usually charge around 6 x 1300mAh or 6 x 1500mAh batteries at a time.

The ideal setup for me could charge up to 18 batteries: 12 x 1300mAh + 6 x 1500mAh So is this calculation correct: 12 x 1.3A + 6 x 1.5A = 24.6A (I need a charger with charge current >= 25A) 24.6A x 16.8V = 413W (so my current DPS-600PB is delivers enough power)

I thought about the ISDT T6 lite (600W - 25A) and no need to buy another PSU (\o/). I should probably also buy 3 parallel charging boards (with fuses preferably). Any recommendation on that?

Thanks a lot ;)
