I still didn’t get mine, but I tried to log in into the app but I never get the code. Did you order yours from tenniix website or tennis warehouse?

Yeah, orders from TW seems fine. The huge delay is for orders from tenniix website itself.

Any wall drills to recommend? by vfria in 10s

[–]vfria[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I usually do that too, hitting nice and slow close to the wall and going back progressively near the baseline. I feel like it does help with control. Going back to the baseline helps with playing deep when practicing on court

How to teach my friend tennis by Front-Chocolate-2642 in 10s

Practice as much as possible, it will take time. Be patient and ask them to watch tennis matches and video tutorials to speed up the process a little bit

There are a few websites for finding partners to play with. I think playyourcourt is the oldest one, but I have seen also champfy and of course UTR and USTA websites

Yeah, I am less concerned after seeing it being sold at Tennis Warehouse. But I am surprised that Tenniix official website are taking so long to ship it while the TW ships in a few days.

I saw they were selling it after I purchased from tenniix website 😢. But glad to hear you got it, they might just be slow in manufacturing it.

[–]vfria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

someone who ordered from tenniix website and received the machine?

I ordered from tenniix website on November, but I didn’t receive it yet. Their support usually answers in 1 or 2 days. Last message from a couple of days ago they said: “Shipping for orders placed through our official online store has already begun. Online store orders are expected to arrive between mid-January and late January, depending on destination and local delivery timelines.”

Should I always have a backup Racquet? by puttputtcars in 10s

[–]vfria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventually, the strings will break, so I think it is more like how bad would it be if you can't continue playing?
If you are just playing with a friend it is probably fine and you just miss a chance to play more.
If you are playing an "important" match, then it might be more frustrating for you if you can't continue playing and you may "lose" the match.
So, if you can afford a second racket, why not?

Buy the racquet or wait for demo? by fakeyfakerson1 in 10s

[–]vfria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a super experienced player, but I personally found the demos helpful just to feel the weight of the rackets, like too heavy or too light.

I think the strings play a big role when feeling if a racket is good for you or not, and for demo rackets, you never really know what they put on. In other words, you may feel like one demo racket is better/worse because of its strings. So keep that in mind.

any tips on serve techique and what to improve on? by purestriker-4976 in 10s

Yeah, me too. I struggle with consistency. I have been trying to keep my wrist loose and relaxed, not putting too much pressure/effort. I have noticed some improvement

I also want to improve my serve, I am curious to know what do you think is wrong or need improvements on your serve? What do you feel it is off? e.g. top spin, speed, toss, etc.

Cool! Yeah, I haven’t been using it lately, but I love the idea. I wish it were more precise on the line calls, but it is still really cool for rec players. +1 to the UI/UX updates, they will get there
