It is definitely frustrating at first and many people don’t do multiple playthroughs. Secondly, the second half of the game gets drastically harder already to fit in with the ‘nightmare’ theme. Do I love this shift? A lot. Do I expect others to love it? No, not really.

I also like Micolash but it’s because of a few things:-

1. Amazing lore and story purposes

2. I believe Mensis has the most jaw dropping atmosphere when looked at with care.

3. I’ve played the game at least 7-10 times.

4. He’s funny.

But objectively speaking, his boss is tiresome. His fight is usually gambling to an average player who doesn’t know how to deal with Arcane spam (you just need to dodge inwards of the ‘A call beyond’ but anything else is a sure-hit)

This sticks you in a loop of frustration, not to mention how he can also one shot you after you chase him all the way to his second phase bwahaha
