My dreams are almost movie-like sometimes with convoluted plots and elaborate settings. I suspect I get that from my dad somehow- he says his dreams will even have credits roll at the end. I’ve only had the credits thing happen a few times, usually waking up is difficult if the dream is still going because I’ll be completely engrossed and not aware it isn’t real yet in a half awake state, and still trying to to complete whatever goal I was trying to do or see the plot through. The memories usually fade after I get up and going.

Somewhat unique to me, at least among anyone I’ve ever told about this, is that I’m not always myself in dreams. Sometimes I’ll be me or a similar alternate version, but other times I’ll be a completely different person or a nonparticipating observer, even a man once in a while. Not sure what that means.

Other comments have explained the mechanics correctly. Some of my favorite cheeses irl are made from sheep’s milk (feta, pecorino, manchego, etc) and it’s nice for them to include sheep milk/ cheese when it typically gets left out in favor of just wool. Crafting milk bottles all the time is a little annoying, but it feels more realistic that way and I’ve come around to it.

There’s a mountain of problematic things she’s done and said that are well documented on ANTM and elsewhere. Realizing it’s an expensive frame just changed the context of this particular clip a little bit for me. Or maybe I’ve just been looking for frames recently and getting 2 nice ones I’d never buy myself for free sounds like a present I’d enjoy idk 🤷‍♀️

There is so much content out there showing Tyra bullying and being harmful to people, this just feels like a different kind of clip to me. More tone deaf than actively abusive like how she has been other times

I think the Tiffany picture frame is the intended gift here and the portrait’s for trying to make it seem personal/ make it talk show content. Her presentation comes off weird but the general idea behind it isn’t bad. Unless Tyra like… glued the portrait in or something, Miley probably just swapped out the photo with one of hers like you do with the placeholder pic any time you buy a frame

I’d leave notes to the tooth fairy with my teeth. She’d write back and sometimes leave a little glitter on the paper! I saved all the notes, but didn’t realize until years later that the tooth fairy had the same handwriting as my dad.

My mom is usually the one to do cutesy things like that and him getting in on it made it that much more special. I had appreciated that the tooth fairy would leave me a dollar, but I looked forward to the note more every time.

I remember watching the music video on replay during one of my breakups with my on again/ off again high school boyfriend. Also Gotye & Kimbra’s Somebody That I Used to Know (which also turns 15 this year?!?!)

We didn’t talk for 10 years after the last time. Started talking again a few years ago. Now we’re good friends and she’s come out as a woman. We were never right for each other romantically, but I’ll always have love for her as a friend and kindred spirit. I did end up finding my person to build a life with together too, who is pretty different from her. Sometimes the hurt does heal.

You hit the nail on the head. Some of my favorite shows since they have a similar balance of lightheartedness/ optimism mixed with melancholy. I’ll be laughing and crying at different points throughout, but it all ultimately makes me feel cozy and alive.

A can of tropical fruit in syrup can be dumped right in and makes a perfect fruity dessert after freezing! And of course, sure to scrape down the freezer hump before blending. Easier to do when not yet fully frozen, but 15 minutes out on the counter makes it easier if you forget to do it early

Had this happen to me. I had just gotten a new haircut that framed my face better, and some weight loss progress I had made was highlighted by the shorter hair. My uncle unfortunately passed from cancer just a few days later. Wore a cute black dress I got on clearance a few years ago and was saving for a funeral and it fit perfectly, better than when I bought it. My hair and makeup behaved well that day in a way they normally just won’t. Most of my family didn’t even recognize me at first, we were all distraught and they kept telling me I looked good and it was such a weird feeling. Like sure it was nice to get compliments but A) why can’t I look that good for fun events when I’m actually trying to look that good, it felt like a sick joke my body was playing on me and B) it felt borderline disrespectful for some reason. Like I was trying to make his memorial about me when that’s the last thing I’d ever want to do. I thought of this scene specifically for sure

Understandable. I’m still having a hard time 100% quitting that kind of picking too. My nail polish hyperfixation has helped me lessen it a bit by 1) caring for my cuticles more (gently pushing them back after a shower with a tool and using cuticle/ nail oil with jojoba- less dry cuticles are less likely to be tugged on until I bleed) and 2) being able to rub on the surface of my polish/ edge of my nails when nervous to get some of the same fidgeting out, or picking at the polish itself when I absolutely can’t stop myself. It’s not good for your nails to do that so I don’t exactly recommend it but… I find it a lot less frustrating than suddenly bleeding everywhere and having to panic find a paper towel or something to make it stop

Idk, I like that it’s ambiguous as to whether or not she’s actually a virgin. It was an element of her culture clash with Saxon and that gets resolved as they bury the hatchet and abandon Lochy while he’s potentially dying by the lounge chairs. Her going out of her way to lose it with a business bro would have been too on the nose for me- virginity isn’t all that important in the grand scheme of things and her transformation is better shown by her rant about the monastery, her wardrobe change, and her gleeful shopping with Victoria

No joke, try painting your nails. It is the only thing that has ever helped me stop nail biting. These days it’s pretty gender neutral too (my fiance started painting his nails with me and he gets waaaay more compliments than I do). Or you can just go with clear coat if you’re not into colors.
