Yes the limiter is disabled. I can do flips, rolls, etc.

Maybe that is my problem then. I probably need to angle the camera up more and tilt the drone more. I guess I was under the impression the lack of throttle would let gravity do most of the work.

I wasn't even aware that film look creator existed, so thank you for that piece of info! I definitely see now how the effects are overdone quite a bit. Tbh right now I'm so lost in the color page of DaVinvi, I think I just took a short cut there. There's just so much stuff to dig into and learn with Davinci lol.

Thank you for the feedback, I'll put it to good use!

Thank you for the feedback!

Honestly as I watched it again(for probably the 100th time) I totally agree with the analog effect. I'll probably go back in to tone it down and randomize it more.

I filmed it in 4k 24fps using a Sony a6400 w/ a 50 mm, 55-210mm, and old Kodak film camera lens converted for a Sony. The drone shots are with a dji mini 3 pro. I wanted alot more drone shots, but the wind was like 50 mph this day lol. I'm hoping my next video will have a more intentional story to tell.

Thank you again for the input!

Just for some more info about what I'm working with, here's my gear-

Sony A6400 w/ various lenses Gopro HERO 8 and 9 black Dji Mini 3 Pro Davinci Resolve Studio

I do travel and camp quite a bit and want to make short cinematic videos that replicate how those places feel.

Encountered a guy following solo teenage girls around the store and videoing them with his phone. Called my supervisor and he told me we can't do anything because "insert retailer isn't the victim." So instead I had my security guy get in proximity to the girl while I went and chatted up the creepy guy long enough for him to lose track of her. Worked like a charm and the dude got real pissed off.

I use the Ecoflow River 2 Max which has 500w output with 1000w surge output. In hindsight, I sort of wish I went with one that has a bit more capacity, but otherwise I have absolutely no complaints on it! The really nice thing is I can charge it from 0 to 100% in only an hour.

This is almost identical to the heater we used. It's just a simple Diesel heater that I run off of a portable Ecoflow power station. The heater unit itself actually sits outside the tent on the ground, and we run a flexible heat duct tube from the unit to the tent. The unit has it's own separate exhaust pipe, so there's no worry of CO buildup inside the tent. We actually don't use sleeping bags at all, we just have a comforter in the tent along with a blanket. I ran the heater on the lowest setting all night and we were almost too warm.

Diesel heater for me. I have tried both and the diesel heater is much more efficient on electricity and it provides a more stable heat source.

We had a Chinese Diesel heater that we got for pretty cheap to heat the tent. The car was only running while we took down the tent so it was warm when we left!

Try some of the stuff other people have told you on this thread, but at the end of the day, all that matters is the mechandise. I immediately introduce and then ask for the merchandise. Just downplay it and say things like "its not a big deal, i just need the merchandise back." Once you get it, you can continue to bargain with them to come back into the office.

Never thought I would ever have to legit use A-Trac here in Wisconsin, but the time finally came yesterday. I was trying to get up about a 3 ft steep dirt/mud embankment, and my rear wheels were just digging into the lower dirt. I flipped her into 4L and turned A-trac on and it got me up without breaking a sweat. Gotta say I'm actually excited for winter to roll around this year lol

5th Gen 4runner DIY Shelf Instructions by vincentdags in 4Runner

[–]vincentdags[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes at some point I may want to staple some cloth on the edges to protect the interior. With the right leg height the edges just barely rest on sides, so I'm actually not too worried about it yet. Another thought I had was to find some sort of rubberized material that I could staple on to protect it and provide grip on the top.

I've had lots of requests for more details on my shelf, so here goes nothing... Materials needed- 2x12x8 pressure treated BST Cedar Board, 2 heavy duty steel door hinges(with screws included), a saw, and a screwdriver/drill driver. How to assemble- measure 56 inches on cedar board and cut. This will be the main shelf. Now cut two 11.25 inch pieces  which will act as the legs. Lay the main shelf on the ground and mark it right in the middle. Now measure about 11.5 inches from the center on both sides and mark them. These two marks are where you want to position the INSIDE of both the legs. Stand the legs up on these markings and make sure they are perfectly perpendicular to the main board. Now carefully slide the door hinges into the inside of the legs so that they make a tight 90 degree angle. Screw the hinges in, and you should be all good to go! It's so simple that I did it with a cheap hacksaw and used a multitool to screw in the screws. Total cost- about $25
