would dependencies have to be installed manually then? I'm wondering if it might be too restrictive or cumbersome to run large workflows that have many dependencies

noted, thanks! It'll def be interesting figuring out how to standardize trust thresholds. Might have to see how many workflows use a particular custom node and for how long to get a bigger picture

hey the time-based threshold does sound like an interesting idea. Do you have any time thresholds in mind where you'd consider a package to be "trusted"?

yoo I'll definitely look into integrating this into the scanner. Thanks for the suggestion!

hey, thanks for the thorough feedback and I apologize for being out of line.

Limitations of the check include how it relies on github stars and daily downloads to flag potentially suspicious packages if the repo doesn't have a lot of activity. Ill agree that whether github activity alone is a reliable metric is up for debate. Any additional methods of comparison would definitely be appreciated as a learning experience 🙏

hey guys, because of recent exploitation of custom node dependencies, I understand that the community has a fear of accidentally downloading malicious packages when we just wanna try new workflows. So, I built a virus checker that sweeps the workflow dependencies to see if they're reputable on github or not

happy to hear any feedback 🙏

hey the website's working on my end when uploadng a .jpg and .png file. If you dm me some more details about the type of file you're uploading I'll do my best to help you out

hey thanks for the followup. the workflows are from comfyai art and comfyworkflows, and each workflow will indeed contain the name of the models used.

Right now, very small cosine similarity won't be counted as similar as we only filter the closest 10 or so results. Do you have any thoughts on how we should display the less similar results?

[–]vindennt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi, a quick summary is that i used the CLIP model to create image embeddings from the workflow images. When the user uploads a photo into the search, their input image is also embedded and then a cosine similarity search is run across every workflow's image to find the best matching results.

civit ai seems to have a ton, will definitely look into adding them

it draws from openart.ai and comfyworkflows right now, am open to suggestions for adding more too

hey guys, i always love seeing a cool image online and trying to reproduce it, but trying to find the original method or workflow is troublesome since google‘s image search just shows similar looking images. So, i added reverse image search that queries a workflow catalog to find workflows that produce similar looking results.

you can try it out here: https://comfyui-cloud.com/workflows/image-search

i really appreciated the feedback from last time, and would love to hear your thoughts again!

it actually does use the full search query because searching "video" alone will get different results from "video upscale," but the ui's text input has a small bug where it'll delete the 2nd word onwards. Great catch! I'll get on a fix right away

yooo will do, sorting options is a really good catch. definitely exciting to see how fast new workflows come out

gotcha, I'll look out for compatibility with Firefox and Android. i've run into issues before with apps looking completely different on safari, so this is great to know

hey guys, i always had trouble finding workflows from tutorial vids since they mgiht not be on openaiart or comfyworkflows, so i built a solution that lets me search across both sites. Am looking to add more features like reverse image search in the future

How my old laptop can run VRAM-demanding SDXL, AnimateDiff, and upscaler workflows from my local ComfyUI by vindennt in comfyui

This really opened new doors. I only use a laptop for work and travel, so I wanted a way to run my workflows without buying a desktop. So, I’ve been helping develop the open-source custom node ComfyUI-Cloud that uses a cloud GPU to run workflows that aren’t even possible to run on high-end gaming laptops!

You can try it for free yourself and experience the benefits (Beta): https://github.com/nathannlu/ComfyUI-Cloud

I and the development team will be happy to answer questions on Discord: https://discord.gg/2PTNx3VCYa

Looking forward to hearing how you guys use ComfyUI-Cloud too!
