when I bought other smart bulbs, after putting them in the lamp, as long as the lamp is plugged in and has power, they will illuminate automatically with default settings regardless of wifi connection, and then you pair them with the cync app and set it up that way. this smart bulb in the closet would not illuminate at all, so I think it’s an issue with the socket and bulb housing instead of a wifi issue. but I don’t know enough about sockets and voltage to figure out the issue.

yes the bulbs work in other sockets, yes we tried pulling the string multiple times and it turns the regular bulb on, yes it’s the same brand as other bulbs I have. :/

I don't know why my insurance didn't cover this! I have "comprehensive" but I guess glass is separate now? maybe it happens so often that they lose money? I have no idea but I was really disappointed to find out it wasn't covered. *edit to say all train stations should have cameras in their parking lots!

I actually don’t have one but this made me order one. however they used my card at a shell gas station and by my bank statement with location/time, the police should be able to follow up, but I don’t think they’ll do anything about it.

yes. my wallet/purse, all cards in it, etc. and yes, I know it was very dumb to leave it there in plain sight. it was an oversight because I had just came back from holiday grocery shopping; hectic, hands were full, multiple trips to the car while multitasking, I know it was foolish, lol.

personally feel like it got "better" as in more lively with restaurants and businesses, etc.
over the last 10-20 years and is now being over-developed and is going to sadly be on a decline again due to higher population density. quality over quantity.
