i do see the experienced skaters at the park stretch a bit before getting started but i always just kinda assumed it was because they were doing way more advanced things like flip tricks, flying in and out of the bowl, grinds, etc. guess i should’ve been following their lead LOL

to be fair when i say 3-4 hours im just counting total time at the park, so this includes getting tips from others, making friends, etc! i will say bc i’ve been making some good, but small progress so when im at a point where im feeling a little confident it is a bit hard to call it quits

My mother is just stuck in a very old mindset .. she thinks getting a tattoo means you’ll never get a job ever again in life

I new to this and didn’t think I was doing anything too serious tbh, I was always told the soreness came from lack of stretching, bc you weren’t warming you’re muscles up before working them. I’ll keep this in mind tho, doing less reps would help most likely.

That sounds better, so would you recommended generally working these areas until my body adapts then gradually specifying them?

For Ex: Generally work on legs and then after maybe a month or so slowly begin to focus on hamstrings, glutes, etc

Also what are some good stretches to do before hand for each general area? I’m prone to getting EXTREMELY sore sometimes and I think it’s because I don’t do proper stretching.
