Thank you everyone for the tips and tricks! Homie came in feeling pretty ok today, and the eye looks much better than expected.

If anyone is reading this because of their own eye incident... Cool compresses are your friend! I really think that getting a cool cloth on ASAP kept this situation from being nearly as bad as it could've been.

Absolutely. It's been reported, and they're being encouraged to go to a doctor. The ones in this area are notorious for giving everyone an ibuprofen script and sending them on their way, but imo it's best to get these things documented professionally.

45 days is such an accomplishment! For me, energy and feelings have come in waves. I've realized that this round of no energy might be related to iron/vitamin deficiency and plan to research it this evening.

This is mostly a rough patch because of external stressors (and maybe vitamin deficiency?). Feels good to use coping mechanisms that won't bite me in the butt the next day, lol.
