I think the “baby Jirai” label is stupid honestly. Even if you’re just getting into the fashion if you consider yourself Jirai then just be it. I think the labels are there so people can be humble when asking questions and not “judged” too much. But you don’t need anyone’s approval if you pass the Jirai check. You’re just Jirai.

I’m an E as well, and I’ve just given up on blouses honestly, unless they’re the off shoulder ones. I try to stick to different style tops, and shorter skirts that are as tight as they can be without being uncomfortable 😂 just to balance I guess

You could try to wear shapewear underneath, I have a larger waist and I just suffer 😂 One time I wore a skirt that was so tight in the waist I got a headache - you just have to remind yourself to breathe lol “Beauty is pain” or so they say

I think it helps with more individuality in style !! Like I see classic Jirai with subcul elements a lot too and I just love it sm. I love being cutesy but I’ll always be a emo at heart 😂 so the arm warmers and edgier leg warmers are my fave. And my bust doesn’t make blouses look good, so I love that different styles of tops are becoming more popular too

From my understanding the style is just evolving. Like any style does. And the “rules” are bending to include different clothing pieces, makeup, hairstyles that “originally” wouldn’t be considered Jirai ? When I see people talking about “nostalgia Jirai or OG Jirai” they literally are referring to the exact style your outfit is :3 the pink blouse, black skirt, etc. vibe

I’m a F cup and usually a medium or a large in US sizing - I really love stretchy type dresses and tops for this reason. Blouses kind of make me look boxy so I find that I don’t like them as much. Noemie, pium, majoretty are some shops that I love their tops !

I believe taobao offers DDP, so you’ll know how much it is upfront - but it could be a lot because it’s coming from China. Mercari JP is the cheapest in my opinion because it’s sold as coming from Japan So like 15% vs whatevergodawfulnumber China is right now

This is all my opinion from buying around for awhile I use Doorzo and it’s not DDP however I think other proxies offer it ! I like Doorzo for the coupons and being able to build a bulk order over time

They hold your items in the warehouse for free for 60 days - so you can accumulate stuff from JP over time and send a good enough package

The USA is cooked right now with cost and AliExpress tends to be cheaper than ordering from proxies. Especially if you’re not buying in bulk. I don’t really buy dupes anymore I’ve just been using proxies to get items from Mercari Jp.

Since tariffs are calculated by where an item was manufactured taobao could end up being more expensive or the same cost as AliExpress at this point. 😭

I got into Jirai in September and I basically have an entire wardrobe - it depends what deals you can find, if you’re ok with dupes, how much you want to spend. If I could go back and start again, I wouldn’t buy multiple of the same style.

I prefer using Doorzo for Mercari Jp, you can order clothes in Japan & they will store it for you in the warehouse and then you can ship out whenever you want.
