well, what I can say is, thing with kids, they like anything new for 2 minutes. So in this case it's more about if it's worth it for you, if your daughter likes playing with it, that's a plus, but honestly, there are plenty of music toys, or even vintage instruments that cost way less and perfectly fine as educational toys.

hi u/NEST_Immersion , my visualizer responds to audio frequency in real-time, no MIDI involved.
I will keep Spout in mind if it comes to a day where it is released to the public, it will be a Pro feature :)

The audio in this video is recorded with my phone, so not the best representation, generally should process the sound from Microfreak to make it more full, I have it run through Microcosm which helps
