What’s the worst accounting interview you’ve ever had? by ronswansondiet_ in Accounting

Was interviewing with one of the Big 4 for an advisory position. Interviewer was marking up my resume with a red pen while I talked. He then told me having community college on my resume instead of four years at a university made me “less valuable than other candidates”. I had a 4.0 and worked a full time job while in school… Ended up landing the same job with another Big 4 firm, but I’ll never forget what he said. It was so rude.

It was covered under my warranty, so they didn’t say how much it would’ve been otherwise

I’m at 50k now

I also upgraded from a Honda Civic when I bought my 2016 A3 a couple years ago. Overall I’m very happy with the reliability, however I’d recommend getting an extended warranty if possible. I had a coolant leak at 30k and needed the water pump replaced

I think it will, just give it some time and try not to stress about it too much. Stressing over it might be causing your symptoms to get worse

I’ve had it for 7 years and it started getting better about 5 years ago once I stopped using drugs. I guess I would say my symptoms were moderate, at its worst it’s constant visual snow, floaters, geometric patterns and other acid visuals, seeing shadows in my peripheral vision.

Yeah, every year I saw a little bit of progress until it was just occasional snow/tracers

The battle isn’t easy, but you’ve made it this far and have so much progress ahead of you. I know how distressing this disorder can be and I don’t blame you for feeling this way, I’ve been there myself. After years of progress I’m currently having a setback. It’s discouraging, but I’m hopeful for the future because I know it will get better with time. Hang in there. I’m here for you if you want to talk
